Discord bot

TibiaFactory bot — admin guide

For Discord server staff and TibiaFactory staff. The bot installs in seconds, creates nothing you did not ask for, and every channel is a module you switch on or off.

← Member guide — /wiki/discord

Install — the bot creates nothing

Invite it and nothing happens to your server: no category, no channels, no messages. It stays invisible until you ask it for something.

  • Inviting the bot creates zero channels and zero categories. Nothing is posted anywhere.
  • /splitloot and /solohunt work immediately, with no setup at all — the card posts in the channel you run the command in.
  • /tf-link works in any channel, so members can link their character before an admin configures anything.
  • Only two commands need Manage Server: /tf-setup world (links your Tibia world) and /tf-setup channels (the module picker).
  • Dedicated channels are a preference for WHERE things land — never a requirement for anything to work.

Modular — you tick what you want

/tf-setup channels opens a menu listing every optional channel and feed. Tick the ones you want, confirm, and only those are created — grouped under the “TibiaFactory - LFG Bot” category.

  • Nothing is ticked by default. On a fresh server the menu opens empty, and confirming an untouched menu does nothing.
  • Reopen /tf-setup channels anytime to add or remove modules — the menu always shows what is currently on.
  • The category is only created if you pick at least one channel.
  • Turning a module off stops the bot posting there — it does NOT delete the channel. Delete it yourself if you want it gone.
  • Deleting a channel is not the same as turning the module off; use /tf-setup channels (or /tf-disable) so setup does not recreate it.
  • In the menu: 🪙 loot-split · 🗡️ solo-hunts · ⚔️ hunt-board · 💀 boss-board · 🎯 bounty-board · 🧭 traders-daily · 💰 trade · 💀 deaths-levels-feed · 🗞️ tibia-com-news · 🚫 blacklist-online.
  • /tf-disable <module> turns a single module off without opening the menu.

Requirements

  • Bot invited — https://discord.com/api/oauth2/authorize?client_id=APP_ID&permissions=345744935952&scope=bot%20applications.commands
  • Link the Tibia world — run /tf-setup world. This is what starts the embeds and feeds.
  • Pick your modules — run /tf-setup channels (or /tf-setup channels, which opens the same picker).
  • Optional: role IDs for @Monk, @Sorcerer, etc. for pings and vocations (/tf-pings, /tf-roles).

Multiple Discords — same bot and posts

Different guilds or the official world Discord can share the same bot and posts. Each Discord needs the channels and the bot invited.

  • Creating a hunt (web or any Discord) → appears on every server for that world.
  • Embeds update everywhere (party, slots, full) when someone joins or premades change.
  • Deleting from one Discord → removed on the web and all other Discords.
  • Private threads: require Discord Boost Level 2; eligible players only — no mass @role pings.

Official Tibia world Discord

  • Worlds such as Secura, Monza, Refugia, etc. can have customizable spawn bookings — contact TibiaFactory (Wi lly Monka).
